Careers: Work in a hospital, nursing home, or patient's home under the direction of licensed health professionals.

Learn: How to take care of patients/residents.

Skills: Patient/resident activities of daily living to include hygiene, grooming and other basic needs of patients.

Cool!: This program can be completed in one month.  State testing is available on site! 

Certifications: In Ohio, Nurse Aides are "State Tested," not licensed.  In order to work in Ohio Long Term Care Facilities, individuals must complete and maintain requirements to be listed on the State Nurse Aide Registry and are known as STNA's.

Clinicals Info: This course includes 16 hours of hands-on clinical in a long-term care setting.  Physical examination, TB skin testing, and white uniform are required for clinical experience.
