EHOVE's has created new programs to meet the workforce demands of our local employers and economy.   In Adult Education,  Building Trades  has joined 18 other occupational program offerings.  This new, full time program teaches students construction drawings, material handling, residential electricity, construction framing (floors, walls, roofs, stairs), drywall installation, drywall finishing, residential plumbing, and residential HVAC.

In the high school, two new programs, called Manufacturing Design & Robotics and Welding & Fabrication, will complete a roster of 25 total career tech choices for students in the 2024-2025 school year.

Manufacturing Design & Robotics will teach students how to design and create 3D models, program industrial robots, and how to use CAD and CAM software, 3D printers, CNC and manual machine tools.  Welding & Fabrication will teach students how to utilize the four major welding techniques and fabricate metal, oxyfuel and plasma arc cutting, CNC press brake and CNC plasma table.

All of the new programs offer critical industry certifications that will assist the students in their future careers.  Applications are open now for Building Trades.  Interested adults can start by signing up for an info session.  The high school's application for 2024-2025 school year opens on Tue, Nov 14.
